Learning Fund

What is The Quail Run Learning Fund Foundation? The QRLF Foundation is a parent-run, non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to supplement our children's public school education. QRLF Foundation is an affiliate of the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation.

What is The QRLF Foundations Goal? Its primary goal is to raise monies to support educational enhancements that state and local school funding is not adequate to provide.

How Can You Help? After evaluating projected staffing requirements and budget cuts for 2009/2010, we recommend a minimum donation of $325 per student or $500 per family (more than 1 student attending Quail Run) and we encourage every family to donate what they can. Every donation goes directly to the Quail Run classrooms to support students through art, reading, math instructional assistants, vocal music instruction, library coordinator and many other valuable programs for the 2009/2010 school year.

When Should I Make a Donation? The sooner the better because without the money in the bank during the start of school year, the administration will be forced to make cuts with the various teachers / programs we fund (i.e. math, reading, art, vocal music, librarian, computer lab, etc.). Funding per student in the San Ramon Valley School District is well below national and California averages. This is a great opportunity for you to help your child, and for our community to reach out to our school.

It has never been more important or more necessary to donate to continue the excellent quality of education we have enjoyed at Quail Run Elementary School. We ask that you act now so that your child can benefit from the wonderful programs in 2009/2010.

Thank you,

Dorothy Reyes
President of QRLF Foundation

Thank you,
