Quail Run Elementary School Science Program

The Quail Run science program will utilize the California State Standards and Benchmarks and adopted Harcourt Brace Science Textbook. The faculty is excited to have these specific guidelines as a foundation for our science curricular goals. Students will have three main science unites: Physical Science, Earth Science and Life Science.

Every week all students will visit one of our two "state of the art" Science Labs. The science lab is a great environment to encourage inquisitive thinking and hands-on active learning. In the lab students will participate in hands-on activities, demonstrations, discussions and experiments. Students will be assessed based on their participation, attitude and effort. We will have a fun filled year with lots of in depth learning taking place.
